Subscriptions start inside the app. Sign in with Google under Settings → Account and press "Subscribe"; checkout continues in your browser. Local taxes are shown at checkout.

Common questions
- Is there any difference between monthly and annual?
- Only the price and the billing cycle. Annual is 31% cheaper; monthly can be stopped from next month.
- Which devices can I use it on?
- Today, the Windows app. Mac, iPhone, and Android apps are in the works and will be covered by the same subscription at no extra cost. There is no device limit.
- Who processes the payment?
- Paddle, as Merchant of Record. Paddle issues the receipt and handles tax; Daynote never receives your card details.
- What happens when the trial ends?
- Only the syncing stops. No card is on file, so nothing is charged, and both the notes on your PC and the copy already uploaded stay put.
- Does cancelling delete my notes?
- No. Cancelling only prevents the next renewal, and syncing continues until the period you paid for ends. See the refund policy.
- Can I switch from monthly to annual?
- Yes, in the Paddle customer portal opened from Settings → Account in the app. The unused part of the monthly period is prorated.
